Darcy Van Orden
Darcy Van Orden has been a business owner for over 45 years, establishing DGI Associates well into her career in 2007. Inspired by the words of A.G. Gaston – “Find a need and fill it. Successful businesses are founded on the needs of people.” and the words of Robert H. Schuller – “The secret to success is find a need and fill it; find a hurt and heal it; find a problem and solve it.”
DGI Associates was created to assist in the great work that I&R organizations do to serve in connecting people in need with social services.
Darcy’s business philosophy has been to surround herself with qualified, enthusiastic and dedicated people who believe in what the company is doing. The success of her first business – a preschool, daycare and after school program – hinged on this philosophy from 1983 to 2018 when the business was sold. To this day the dedicated people that worked alongside Darcy are still working alongside the new owners of the school she created.
Darcy is striving to create the same legacy with DGI Associates. DGI’s Admin Team is comprised of brilliant, committed and experienced people who believe wholeheartedly in what the I&R industry is doing to help people. The Associates and Jr. Associates share the same belief. Together, the DGI Team is a dynamic group of people eager to take on any challenges presented by the I&R organizations.
In Darcy’s spare time her hobbies are interior design, real estate ventures and entrepreneurial dreaming.
